Josh is a conscious leader who encourages collaboration, accountability, productivity and transparency. He models professional behaviors necessary for industry success while offering guidance, constructive feedback and exploration of new opportunities in ability development. His team building skills are valuable to groups and organizations he partners with. 

REFLECTIVE COMPOSER 

Josh is a composer whose work explores the connection of the human spiritual experience and narrative identities of music practitioners and participants.  His work explores language, history, math, scientific concepts, societal and personal reflections on music in contemporary life.  

DEDICATED PROFESSOR/TEACHER

Josh has spent many years teaching choir, band, Orff-Schulwerk, Kodaly, music production, audio engineering, piano, and music theory to students of all ages. Through the years, Josh has experienced success working in music centers, schools, churches and music camps overseeing the music departments and giving private music lessons to students of all ages. Josh has the ability to illuminate learning in meaningful, relevant ways and removes barriers for student success. 

DIGITAL MUSIC PRODUCTION THEORIST 

Josh has advanced digital music production and theory skills. He has worked in music studios nationwide and has produced many recordings. He participates regularly in digital music theory and music production communities as a mentor and instructs other music professionals on industry standard practices regarding Performance Rights Organizations (PROs), Copyright, Royalties, Sync Rights, DAW, Mixing, Mastering, Plugins, Streaming, etc.  

​EDUCATION

Josh began studying voice at age 6, trumpet at 8 and quickly began his journey as a multi-instrumentalist with a special interest in music production and music theory. A versatile musician, Josh performs all genres including gospel, jazz, blues, rock, pop, and classical. He received his Bachelor’s of Interdisciplinary Studies from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA and a Master’s of Music Education from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX.
